The years of our lives – Forthright Magazine
A year is a God-given division of time. He made the heavenly lights to mark days, seasons, and years. So people — recognizing God’s sovereignty or not — make plans for a year, such as traveling, doing business, and making money, James 4.13

I’ve been reading the same KJV bible that was given to me when I was 8 for 57 years. Then a couple years ago I started noticing scriptures that I had memorized and said thousands of times were different. I started to find out why and it is the most important thing that’s happened in my lifetime! Watch this hour and 15 minute video and learn what’s going on. Here’s the link–https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiK3CZBxh5o and God bless.
The years roll on – Believing Prayer
The coming holidays and year’s end bring concerns, but let us see in the turning of the calendar still more evidence of your hand and your care for us. You hold this world and move it around the sun. You hold our lives in your hands as well, we rejoice in your goodness.

Wow, it's been days since I check in here. A week or more. Time flies when you're getting old. After getting home from our US trip, our schedules filled up quickly. I missed a deadline for writing a text for a New Zealand project. The editor was kind enough to extend it, and I overcompensated by writing far beyond the word limit. Looking to make that into a separate stand-alone work, a booklet of sorts, with much new material added and two new sections, now titled, Stoke the Fire.

Anyway, with 747 incoming missiles to read, I'll mark them as read and start from today. Sound like a plan?

I start skimming, check a few, then mark them all read.

Well, I did make it through the whole of them.  I hadn't realized that it was actually three weeks of being away, instead of two.  Time really flies when work gets hectic!
You're a braver man than I!

From today's UPLift motivational email:

MOMENT — a minute portion of time; an instant. The Hebrew word translated as “moment” means “a wink” or “a blink” (Ex. 33:5; Job 7:18). The Greek word translated as “moment” literally means “a pricking” or “a point.” When Christ returns, “We shall all be changed in a moment [in a flash; NIV, REB], in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Cor. 15:52).

I can't say exactly what evangelicals use to promote the concept of the rapture. It's not taught in any shape or form in the Bible. The judgment will come at once for all people, when Christ returns. If I may, here are some articles on that: https://www.christiancourier.com/search?q=rapture
@Carolus Rex A friend of mine posted this recently, might be of some help as well on this topic:

Many thanks.

Another Year | The Fellowship Room

Your grace has brought me safe to another year,
I hardly know how I got from there to here.
While I look forward to a whole year ahead,
I pause to see the year behind that fled.
