The question that must be faced before long is this: Ought I continue using the same #TiddlyWiki I've used for the last couple of years, or start the new year with a new one? What are the advantages of each option? Does TW start getting heavy and slow after so many tiddlers? Does content start getting hard to search for?

One of the suggestions that Dr. Alan McGinnis gives in his book Confidence for "investigating your inner self" is to keep a #journal. He quotes a writer who says to "keep it for your own sake and your own eyes, so that you write in it without reservations."

Putting it on paper is one solution. Or using #TiddlyWiki offline. Or, online, if you prefer that, go with #Hubzilla. All three are great options.

1. Ever have a weird day, when things seemed out of kelter? Yeah, me, too. I'm probably recovering from the long holiday weekend, when we had company.

2. Next to my office, a burger and beer joint opened up tonight, with f-word in its name, plastered all over the front and side. Another reason to move?

3. Missus and I tried out a new food truck tonight, with good burger and fries. Was as cheap or cheaper than those fast-food places.

4. I chose the black hamburger bun. How do they get it to turn out so dark? And bacon, which makes almost everything better.

5. A new #TiddlyWiki site is about to go online. I confess to feeling a bit of excitement. Hope it's as good or better than TiddlySpace was.

6. An original couplet:
The power of men and nations rises and wanes—
As they must—for only God forever reigns.

7. A Bible verse:
The Lord promotes equity and justice;
the Lord’s faithfulness extends throughout the earth.
Psalm 33.5

1. Most days my muscles are sore from working out, constantly building up, pushing forward. Strange feeling, but not unwelcome.

2. Edges of the spine of my bonded-leather Bible are wearing through. Might be time to buy another one, especially since the Portuguese language underwent another revision a few years ago.

3. My two big personal info managers have become the #BulletJournal and #TiddlyWiki, for some time now, the former for some 13 months.

4. Too bad I can't embed #Hubzilla on my site like I did with #Muut. I much prefer it to that one.

5. Still miffed that #TiddlySpace is shutting down. No good option there.

6. A couplet from the hand of Y.T, based on Job 37.13.
Now the rod, now mercy, falls the rain,
God makes it find its mark, for loss or gain.

7. A verse. "So we rebuilt the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height. The people were enthusiastic in their work" Nehemiah 4.6. Enthusiasm and unity accomplish much.

TiddlySpace shutting down on or before Dec. 15. Sad.

Anybody know of a good, free online wiki, that's not a commercial enterprise? My favorite, tiddlyspace.com, is being abandoned by the company behind it, so unless somebody picks it up as a project, it will close at year's end.

years ago, I used dokuwiki. It was easy, without database, ACL premissions ... with lot of plugin permited.
I also used that way back when. Was looking for something hosted, though. Thanks!
#TiddlyWiki has a feature to be able to list in a tiddler all the tiddlers with specific tags:

<<list-links filter:"[tag[productivity]]">>

Is anything like this possible in #Hubzilla?

But we can't put these results into a post or page?
Define "we".

haha Good one. We as in one like me who has limited knowledge of workings under the hood.

  • Cloudy and drizzly day kept temps down, dampened noise and movement, seems like, in the city. Glorious.
  • Almost a month with #BulletJournal (started on the 1st), have kept it up well, #productivity up significantly. Am well pleased. Think I'll keep it.
  • Wrote this on Twitter SermonLines: A sermon is an act of hope, an attitude of faith, a conviction that God can reach a wayward heart and that the Good News will save someone.
  • My question for the webmaster: If an uploaded #TiddlyWiki is loaded completely when a visitor goes to the site, will that elevate the usage on the host? My sites are so popular ...
  • Recommended to asmallorange on Twitter that they offer #GNUsocial and #Hubzilla as preinstalled programs. For microblogging they had three old items.
  • The Lord is good, and only good he does; / Why don't we see? Why isn't the world abuzz?
  • "When you seek me in prayer and worship, you will find me available to you. If you seek me with all your heart and soul, I will make myself available to you,’ says the Lord" Jeremiah 29.13-14a NET.
